Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Zabion collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you visit our website, create a Zabion account, contact us or use a Zabion application.

Last updated: 18 September 2026

1. Who we are

Zabion provides a digital platform through which users can access, manage and subscribe to a range of software applications and services.

References in this policy to “Zabion”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the Zabion platform.

Zabion is in the process of being incorporated as a UK limited company. This policy will be updated with the company's registered details following incorporation.

For privacy enquiries, contact privacy@zabion.co.uk.

2. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Zabion and which applications you use. It may include:

  • account information, such as your name and email address;
  • authentication and account security information;
  • subscription, product and billing information;
  • information you provide when contacting support or making a complaint;
  • technical information such as device, browser, IP address and service usage information where collected;
  • preferences and settings associated with your account; and
  • information you choose to enter, upload or process within a Zabion application.

Individual Zabion applications may process different categories of information according to their purpose and features.

3. How we use your information

We may use personal information to:

  • create and manage your Zabion account;
  • authenticate users and protect account security;
  • provide and operate Zabion applications;
  • manage subscriptions and access to paid services;
  • respond to support requests and enquiries;
  • investigate and respond to complaints;
  • maintain, secure, troubleshoot and improve our services;
  • prevent misuse, fraud and security incidents;
  • meet our legal and regulatory obligations; and
  • send service-related communications about your account or applications you use.

4. Our lawful bases for processing

Under UK data protection law, we must have a lawful basis for processing personal information. Depending on the processing involved, we may rely on:

  • Contract — where processing is necessary to provide a service you have requested or to take steps before entering into a contract;
  • Legitimate interests — where necessary to operate, secure and improve Zabion and our services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights;
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to process information by law; and
  • Consent — where we specifically ask for your consent and consent is the appropriate lawful basis.

5. Information processed within Zabion applications

Zabion provides access to a range of applications. The information processed by an individual application depends on the purpose of that application and the features you choose to use.

Some applications may allow you to enter, upload, organise or analyse information. You should only provide information that you are entitled to use and that is reasonably necessary for the relevant feature.

Where an application provides additional privacy information specific to its functionality, that information should be read alongside this policy.

6. Payments

Zabion uses third-party payment providers to process payments and manage subscriptions. Payment card details are handled by the relevant payment provider rather than being stored by Zabion as complete card details.

We may receive and retain information about your subscription, payment status, transaction references and related billing events where necessary to administer your account.

7. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers where necessary to operate Zabion, including providers supporting:

  • cloud hosting and database infrastructure;
  • authentication and account services;
  • payment and subscription processing;
  • email and service communications;
  • security, monitoring and technical operations; and
  • other services necessary to provide a Zabion feature.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to establish or defend legal rights, or where reasonably necessary to protect users, Zabion or others from fraud, misuse or security threats.

8. International transfers

Some of the service providers used to operate Zabion may process information outside the United Kingdom.

Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we take appropriate steps to ensure that the transfer is covered by a recognised legal mechanism or other applicable protection.

9. How long we keep information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing services, maintaining appropriate business and financial records, resolving disputes, preventing abuse and meeting legal obligations.

Different types of information may therefore be retained for different periods. Where information is no longer required, we will delete it, anonymise it or otherwise dispose of it appropriately, subject to any legal or technical retention requirements.

10. How we protect information

We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, disclosure or misuse.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users are also responsible for protecting their login credentials and should not share passwords or other account security information with anyone else.

11. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights relating to your personal information, including the right to:

  • request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate information;
  • ask us to erase information in certain circumstances;
  • request restriction of processing in certain circumstances;
  • object to certain processing;
  • receive certain information in a portable format where the right to data portability applies; and
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on your consent.

To exercise a data protection right, email privacy@zabion.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

Zabion may use cookies, browser storage and similar technologies where necessary to provide, secure and remember aspects of our services.

More information is available in our Cookie Policy.

13. Complaints

If you have concerns about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so that we have an opportunity to investigate.

You can contact us at privacy@zabion.co.uk.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your personal information has been handled.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as Zabion develops, our applications change, or legal requirements are updated.

The latest version will be published on this page and the “last updated” date will be changed where appropriate.
