About this statement
Zabion is publishing this statement voluntarily as part of our commitment to responsible business practices.
At our current size and stage of development, Zabion is not required to publish an annual modern slavery statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
We nevertheless believe that the principles behind the legislation are important and should be considered from the beginning as Zabion develops.
About Zabion
Zabion is a UK-based digital software platform providing access to a range of applications and online services.
Our operations are primarily digital. Our supply chain therefore principally consists of providers of technology, hosting, infrastructure, software, payment, communications and professional services.
Our commitment
Zabion does not tolerate modern slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, or human trafficking in our operations or supply chain.
We expect suppliers and organisations we work with to comply with applicable employment, labour and human rights laws and to conduct their businesses responsibly.
Our supply chain
As a digital business, Zabion does not currently operate a complex physical manufacturing or distribution supply chain. Most of our suppliers provide software, cloud infrastructure, technology or professional services.
We recognise that modern slavery risks can still exist within wider global supply chains. As Zabion grows, we intend to keep the nature and scale of our supplier relationships under review.
Supplier selection and risk
When selecting significant suppliers, we consider factors such as reputation, reliability, security, compliance and the nature of the services being provided.
Where a supplier, sector, service or geography presents a greater potential modern slavery risk, we may undertake additional checks or seek further information where appropriate and proportionate.
Raising concerns
We encourage anyone who becomes aware of a potential modern slavery or human trafficking concern connected with Zabion or one of our suppliers to raise it with us.
Concerns can be sent in confidence to contact@zabion.co.uk.
We will consider credible concerns and take appropriate action according to the circumstances.
Developing our approach
Zabion is an early-stage business and our processes will develop as the organisation grows.
We will keep our approach to modern slavery and supply-chain risk under review as we introduce new products, engage new suppliers, employ or engage more people and expand our operations.
Review of this statement
We will review this statement periodically and update it where there are material changes to Zabion's business, operations or supply chain.
Following the incorporation of Zabion Limited, this statement will be updated to include the company's formal registered details.
